Ahmed Almadhoun.
Transport engineer · Doctoral researcher · Analytical professional
Warsaw, Poland · Warsaw University of Technology, Faculty of Transport
I investigate how transport networks shape freight accessibility and economic connectivity. My background combines civil engineering, transport modelling, doctoral research, university teaching and finance operations.
Research & methods
Doctoral research: transport poverty in freight transportation networks, under Prof. Mariusz Kostrzewski at Warsaw University of Technology.
- Freight accessibility and infrastructure constraints.
- Passenger–freight interactions in shared urban corridors.
- PTV Vissim microsimulation and PTV Visum network modelling.
- Candidate indicators, calibration and empirical validation in development.
Professional experience
Warsaw University of Technology: doctoral research and teaching experience in engineering graphics and descriptive geometry.
Accenture: accounts receivable and cash collections experience, reporting, escalations, month-end support and colleague training.
Engineering foundation: a BSc in Civil Engineering (Abu Dhabi University) and a master’s degree in Transport Systems Engineering and Management (Warsaw University of Technology).
Recognition & direction
2026 WUT scientific competition recognition and an awarded 2026–2027 grant on passenger-induced freight penalties under mixed-traffic conditions.
Next: expand corridor models and datasets, validate measures and integrate the doctoral contribution. Dissertation submission targeted for September 2028.
